Space cadet jr

I keep seeing more and more of uncle matthew in Eli. 

 Not in his looks, but in his personality.

Matthew was wound pretty tight as a child, and still is as an adult.

 He used to watch TV on his head, which is how he received his nickname, space cadet. Matthew is always cheerful, humming, singing, noticing all the positive things in life. Every food is the BEST he's ever had. 

Every movie was the GREATEST MOVIE he has ever seen. 

Eli is pretty happy and full of it all the time. It's just the crazy rambunctious side of him that goes 100mph 24/7 that's pretty exhausting. 

BUT... If he grows up to be just like Matthew

 

that's not a bad thing.  It's really too bad that we don't ALL have that kind of passion and excitement for life. 

Plus it's hilarious to watch (both of them) when they get so excited about something that they just can't contain themselves. 

If it's really exciting, they flap their arms like a bird taking off.

Sam is following in their footsteps too... he is one.happy.guy.

I am off for the weekend now, with my babies. 

Michael, Michelle, Gracie, & Anna are headed here tomorrow for the weekend. 

So I'm one happy girl too.

Plus, I have this to try...

I've been told it tastes just like fruit loops!!!

I mean, we have that new bar downstairs, right?

may as well use it :)
