til christmas!
the christmas spirit has caught us early.
and by us, i mean me.
mike has a honey-do-list involving outdoor lights this year.
i feel like i've been waiting all my life for a two year old to impress with my christmas spirit.
(well, since markie was a little boy anyway!)
eli is very impressed with the tree.
he called it a pretty cool tree.
mommy got you a pretty cool tree - he said.
sam will see the tree in the morning...
i have a feeling it will catch his eye for a minute or two.
what the boys were NOT so impressed with ---
holiday outfits.
but i'm training them young.
they have a lot of years still ahead to be subjected to me dressing them up.
we got our christmas outfits on and attempted a christmas card photo shoot.
for this year atleast, there will be no holiday photo of the two kids together.
---------------------------
on a side note...
check out my two handsome boys.
same outfit, same age... same genes.
sam is becoming his own little person.
he is super happy in the morning, and super happy most of the time.
just don't mess with him once he lets you know he's done.
the boy likes his sleep.
(too bad he likes it in 30 minute increments from 5-8am)
he has figured out his bottle, and tries to hold it himself.
he will be screaming to eat (the most impatient person i know.)
and once he sees his bottle, he gets his mouth and hands going like he might possible feed himself.
This boy is ATTACHED to his na-nas, blankets, nannys...
whatever he decides to call them that day.
we have convinced him to leave them in his room, and he will leave his pacifier on his dresser when he's not asleep.
how will we ever get rid of these little comforts?
i wasn't going to take them away before or during the transition with Sam.
but now... now he's going on two and 1/2... more and more attached everyday.
i introduced Eli to hot chocolate (with marshmallows) this week.
he loved every last drop of that hot chocolate.
My favorite line by him this week...
Eli's mommy's wittle helper.
