loving vacation

It's amazing the time I have when I don't have to go to work. 

I think I could just stay home from now til the baby comes to get all my projects done.

THEN have 8 weeks maternity leave. 

Too bad I probably can't convince anyone to pay me for all that. (OR keep my job!)

My house is clean, my laundry is done, dinner has been being cooked (BY ME!)

My baby is happy and content and has forgotten to be clingy because mommy might leave him for the next 10 hours at any second.

this week...

Sam's room is finished, his clothes (through 12 months) are washed and folded in drawers...

I have touched up paint, scrubbed my floors, organized the office.

(maybe i am nesting already?)

 and I am ready to finish my other (pinterest) project...

I will post pictures later.

This will be my last pinterest project for awhile. 

Mike hates pinterest and what it has done to our check book.

but I'm really done after this.

Well, until we decorate the basement.

here is my little man, my little conversationalist.

He has talked about that pond all day today that I HAD to take him back there again.

We had to gather the rocks, and they had to be BIG ones.

He also insisted on carrying his own bucket the whole way back there, but kept telling me how heavy it was.

This boy loves throwing rocks in the scummy disgusting pond.

and he launches them suckers. 

so hard that I am afraid he is going to throw himself in there everytime he wings one.

The pond stresses me out.

I told Mike we need to build a guard rail around it.

I can just imagine...Eli figuring out how to crawl out of his crib.

He knows how to open all our doors, and he knows exactly how to get to that pond.

I wouldn't put it past him.

We have him locked in his room from the outside while we sleep. Don't worry.

Everyone have a good weekend.

I still have 3 more days off work (yay!) and I go to my 30 week check-up on Monday. 

I am betting that I am measuring more than 30 weeks. 

My belly is taking OVER!
