Last night Mike and I had a date, a real date, with food and drinks
and even some shopping (clothes shopping AND new car shopping!!)
It's amazing what a night out can do for your sanity!
Wauwau and papa drove for 4, basically 5, hours to babysit Sam and Eli for the same amount of time.
They are crazy, but they love their grandsons!
Eli has been a laugh a minute the past few days.
I wish I could remember all the things that come out of his mouth!
The only ones I can think of at the moment is that he calls bottled water "white juice" and he is calling Zoey (our cat) "Joey".
(which is actually more appropriate, since poor Zoey is actually a boy, which we didn't know until after he was named. Zoey/Joey the transgendered cat.)

He tells me all the time that Sam's cryin', and some of the time he says "I'll get him!" and runs over to grab him out of his chair or bassinet.
Little boy's teaching himself to count (or youtube is teaching him.)
He can also fold laundry like a mad man.
Now if we could just teach him to change this ones diaper...
