my conversations with eli go a little like this:
me, home from work: (With much enthusiasm!) WHAT DID YOU DO ALL DAY??
Eli: Whatchu do all day?
me: Nooooo, what did YOU do?
Eli: whatchuuuuu do?
me: No, I'm asking you!
Eli: I askin you!
later...
I drop something.
me: ugh. gosh.
Eli: ugh. gosh.
me: what did you say?
Eli: what you say?
me: what did you say?
Eli: what you say?
me: we don't say that.
Eli: we don't say dat.
I could go on all day, because it literally does, go. on. all. day.
