once we found out last month's cycle didn't work, we had all of about a day to decide what the plan was next. we started all over, packed our bags, and made that 2 hour trip to see the man (Spirtos) again. this time, i was feeling a little hesitant to spend that money when it may or may not work. especially since our credit card bill has not been paid from the last go round. one thing i will say about Spirtos, he is aggressive. he gets the job done. he does not like to fail (ok, so i said about 3 things.) once he saw my hesitation, his wheels began to turn. the next thing i knew, i was headed out of the office with a plan to succeed, an appointment in 5 days, and a bag full of free medication. yes, I said free. the man gave me 20 doses of "free samples". (over $2000 worth of free samples!!!) He also gave me a pat on the back, and told me we would DO this... one baby at a time.
ha. kate gosselin's got nothin' on me. my ovaries can make some eggs... let me tell ya. after today's ultrasound, i know things are working hard down under...and i have a giant egg factory in there. so the whole bunch of scariness i talked about... that would be giving birth to a litter of puppies. and not a small litter. but i trust the man...and this is how he got us mr. eli... so i just have to trust that he knows what he is doing and go with it.
so here we go.
the next week or so is going to be crazy. drive back to newark to work, drive back to mogadore to see spirtos, live out of a bag for the next week, eli is drug out of his bed before his usually sleepy-head self likes to get out of bed. sigh... but if this works.... all worth it. cross your fingers, say a prayer, wish on a dandelion.
crazy man needs someone to play with. maybe 2, but not 3 or 4.
