we had a nice quiet weekend at home.
well, if you call THIS quiet...
Eli got his haircut Saturday.
It was much needed.
(he has my thick, bushy hair)
He didn't enjoy it much,
but it turned out cute and he gave the girl at great clips a high five when it was over.
Then we went to the pet store and watched the fish and the mice, and he forgot the trauma of the clippers.
The weather has been awesome, and is supposed to continue.
We played outside lots and are hoping to go to the zoo this Thursday.
(It's supposed to be 73!)
Eli says the grass is green and the sky is blue...
and it really was this weekend. Perfect weather.
It's a welcome change to not have the sky gray and the ground white.
(not that our winter was THAT bad to begin with!)
Now we have to break Eli of his routine of going outside.
He says coat, shoes, hat, coat shoes hat.
(and now insists on putting on his own shoes and hat.)
he likes the sideways hat look.
I think he looks like Spanky.
Mike thinks he looks like a rapper.
Is this not the cutest picture ever?
He looks like a little model... pouty lips and attitude?!
It was just a lucky shot because then he took off...
Eli spoke his first "sentence" this weekend.
It was "momma, chill."
I'm not sure he knows what it means but he sure likes to say it.
Baby Sam is 15 weeks from his evacuation!
15 weeks!?
I hope I make it til then!
I am already counting down.
Every once and awhile I get a sad feeling that this is my last pregnancy,
but then I feel nauseaus (daily, although I can atleast eat now!) or cranky (holy emotional roller coaster I am STUCK on) or uncomfortable and HOT (I am a furnace!).
I know I sound a tiny bit like I am whining...
that's because I am.
Here is my huge belly at 24 weeks:
And just for fun, here is my Eli belly at 24 weeks.
Gotta run! I hear Eli on his monitor talking about big trucks. I think he is ready to get up! :)
