we had a rainy memorial day at home today.
the morning was sunny and mike took eli to the granville parade while i stayed in the AC.
eli and i watched it rain and storm from the kitchen before naptime.
Perfect summertime storm (except mike was out washing my car, oops.)
Eli has become quite the little iphone user.
we watched THIS video no less than 100 times today.
and he figured out the reverse camera feature.
He also likes to pretend to put on make-up (and deodorant) and smell my perfume.
momma smell. eli smell. mmmm.
We had to recap the weekend all day today,
mostly explaining that mimi is at her home. ginger is at home.
wauwau is at home. both papas too.
matthew's truck? it's at home.
then we started over.
wauwau and papa are pretty sick with a stomach bug.
we are patiently waiting to find out if we have been contaminated.
i'm hoping i don't have to be subjected to vomiting anytime soon unless it is newborn spit up.
We are going on our 3rd (or more?) week of diarrhea.
i keep thinking it's because he's teething, but that 1st molar came through and that's it.
He acts perfectly fine, we have done florastor for a week.
we tried the brat diet, no dairy for the weekend.
who knows?
maybe eli is the one that contaminated wauwau and papa.
so tomorrow we will be going to the doctor and for a stool culture.
fun stuff.
this is a first for us.
eli has no idea he is pooping his brains out, so that's a positive.
i guess when someone else is wiping your ass for you, you hardly notice.
