The puppy

So I think if we had gotten a new puppy, and Eli was our first puppy ... I would say the dog isn't "taking to" the new puppy, so we should probably find the new puppy a new (safer) home.
I mean, how many times do you let the dog bite the puppy... Until you just have to keep them in seperate rooms completely ?!
We are on watch 24/7-- but somehow mr Eli keeps slipping in a quick face squeeze or a head slap. He doesn't realize what he's doing, and I know it's just curiosity (to see if he can make him cry), jealousy, attention. And cuddling Sam and yelling at Eli probably just makes those jealous feelings worse.
Sigh! Big brother does not win any best behavior awards THIS week!!
Mike went back to work tuesday, and our day here was like magic. It was amazing. Sam slept all night the night before, naps coordinated, Sam was fed before Eli needed fed so I could tend to ONE at a time. Everyone cooperated!!
Then today, with mike home -- things were mass chaos. All babies wanted mama at the same time. Eli was chewing up his dinner and spitting it out. Sam didn't nap almost all day.
And then of course the slapping of the baby's face.
One day at a time, right?
My amazing husband is taking his turn tonight, and I'm sleeping downstairs in isolation. Have I told you how much I love him?
Still waiting for some anxiety/depression symptoms to start sneaking into our lives.
So far so good.
I've never been happier.
I've never felt more like myself.
It is really unfair if anxiety creeps in and steals it all away.
One day at a time.
Today -- we are doing wonderful!!

Ps we are selling our single BOB jogging stroller. Let me know if you are interested in buying.
