I'm on a stay-cation!!!!
Today was the first day and I hope it goes really really slow.
Work is crazy because flu season is crazier than normal this year. I'm hoping to be refreshed (with a positive attitude) by the time I get back next week. (I'm also hoping we will be OUT of flu shots by then!)
We have managed to stay healthy so far (knock on wood) and I hope our luck holds out until spring.
Eli is officially pacifier free, I convinced him (for the first time ever) to sit on the big potty tonight (with diaper ON, practicing using toilet paper for fun), and he is all about dressing himself. He is TWO and a half tomorrow -- and he could stop growing up at anytime. I can't believe how fast it's going.
I heard him tell Sam today -- Sammy you're drooling ALL over. Lemme help you. -- and he wiped his chin with his bib. Our favorite is when Sam smiles at Eli and Eli says "Sammy's sa-mile-lin!" He sounds like a little southern hillbilly.
Sam STILL has no teeth but we better be working on some or else this boy has been a big fat grouch for no reason. I see NO teeth, but am expecting one any day now. The amount of drooling and biting going on is 10x more than normal.
We had a family dinner out tonight. We ordered Eli cheese quesadillas off the menu at brews and he actually ate them. AND fries. He dipped his fries in mustard (?) and every time he coughed because it was spicy. But kept doing it. Strange strange boy.
This weeks project...Eli's John deere room.
