It's something that makes you haaaaaapy!!!
Last night was Eli's first live show - YO GABBA GABBA - complete with Biz Markie and lots of singing and dancing and getting the "sillies out. "
He had a lot of fun, minus a minor version of a total freak out. Because life size characters that belong in the TV -- coming to life??? Yeah, a little scary to a 2 1/2 year old that doesn't get out much.
Eli and Gracie wore their Gabba costumes (yay for getting extra use out of a Halloween costume!!) and that by itself was VERY fun for them.
They were like little celebrities -- everyone was pointing at them. LOOK MOM!! There's Brobee and Foofa!!
It was super cute.
They got little glow in the dark necklaces and M&Ms and skittles -- a special night out with their parents with no little brothers/sisters along!!
Once Eli released his death grip on my neck - he watched with his ears covered for a little while. By the end he was jumping and "dancing" and smiling.
Gracie was a big girl and never got scared.
Once we got outside Eli said "I went to Gabba'a house!!!! It was really noisy!"

Mike and I both admitted that we knew every song they sang.

That might be the ONLY concert we have gone to together where we both knew all the songs.
