Little boy's toe must have been throbbing away last night.
About every hour I had to convince him to go back to sleep. And yes, I play pharmacist in the daytime but at 3 am -- the thought never occurred to me to give him some IBUPROFEN!!!
So ... After a sleepless night for all (Sarah included) we woke up to a pretty swollen toe. Eli wouldn't walk and just cried to be held. (At one point he DID ask someone to take him over by Sammy so he could push him over. True story.)
I'm surprised it took us 2 1/2 years to make it to children's for this boy. But he was very brave and never cried and also never spoke a word to a single nurse doctor radiologist.
Tonight he just wants to replay the whole thing -- Eli got his bwood pressure done. Did that robot take your picture? Did the doctor look at your toe? Over and over. He told me "you was really shy."
By this evening he was running and jumping around here like a wild man like his toe never hurt.
So tomorrow ... No one will be sick and no one will get hurt. Maybe the whole rest of the week.
