#merica

Memorial Day weekend 2013.
Holiday weekends are my favorite when they don't involve pharmacy and they instead involve cute little boys, family and friends, and sleeping in.
This weekend was filled with all of those good things.
Family.
Baby Anna and baby Sammy - chillin' with Mimi at the park.
Markie watched Eli for an hour. Or maybe Eli watched markie, we're not sure.
And miss Gracie. Eli loves to see Gracie. He talks all about her ... But yet they get together and they never talk TO each other. They will laugh and giggle and run and play ... But never any talking.

Friends.
Meet inseparable friends: the second chapter. Eli and Sammy finally got to meet lesley's baby Rowan, aKa "Row-bot".
Rowan is a big boy -- just like Eli was. He is 7 months younger than Sam ... But I think he might outweigh him pretty shortly!! :)
He loves his milk!! His big ol' belly reminds me so much of Eli.
Soon enough these boys will be riding their bikes around town - stirrin' up trouble - just like their mamas used to do.

The boys and I also hung out with Danny and his family :
There are a LOT of kids between us ...
And one more in the way!! (for THEM. THEM. NOT US!)

We are back to home sweet home tonight.
Two days with my boys, one more left. Holiday weekends: the best.
I have spent two days of changing diapers and knowing who pooped when and how much and what color it was. Sounds amazing , huh? But I miss that when I'm at work. I know who ate what and who napped when and who has new tricks.
Sammy is a pro at pulling up now.
Not always in the most desirable places.
Eli will NOT use pedals on a bike. Will NOT. stubborn ?
He was very impressed with the tire at the park.

And swinging double with Sammy.
Sam acts like he wants to walk, and he loves to walk holding your hands. His right foot turns out pretty dramatically when he steps. Not sure what we do about that. I'm hoping it goes away on its own.
Daddy comes home from work in the morning -- and our family of 4 will be around ALL DAY to just hang out together.  Eli is pretty excited about it!
