This blog was going to be how I remembered things ... So I could go back and reread. Most of the time I have trouble fitting a full day in the allotted 24 hours  ... 

We have been fulfilling our (my) summer bucket list before the fall weather sneaks in and pre-school starts for eli (aaah!!) 

Pool days are the best 

Even if it rains a bunch. 

Zoo days are fun too 

And we practically have a zoo of our own at our house 

Lighting and Thunder Windon are still alive and thriving, despite little chubby Eli hands. 

We went to our first movie, me and the boys. It was Planes: Fire and Rescue, and the boys behaved awesome.

We made it 3/4 of the way through the movie before we left. We could have stayed the whole time because it was all kids, but Eli was starting to get rowdy and was jumping on his chair. He wanted to walk around and I decided to sneak out while our first movie was still a good memory. 

Hide and seek is a new big hit. 

Sammy yells "FIND YOU!!!" and does pretty well at counting and hiding his eyes. 

Mostly they like screaming when they find each other. 

The boys' birthday party went well. 

2 and 4. Such fun ages! 

Summer evenings are pretty much always the same around here. Dirty boys playing in the driveway. 

We have caught lightning bugs until it gets too dark out. (Sammy starts getting a little clingy and scared of the dark. )

Bathtime follows. 

Then we head downstairs with our millions of stuffed animals. 

Eli loves giraffes. 

Sam:turtles. Aka "zippy".

Snacks and peppa pig in the bean bag chairs.

And then bed. And somehow, every night while we sleep ... They get BIGGER !!

And cuter. And smarter. And funnier. And crazier. And louder. They really are the best.
