mommy can we keep him?

Eli is a little boy now.

 He is my little pal to hang out with in the evening. 

We popped popcorn (his first time)

[he got a little nervous about how big the bag was getting. he said eli scared? yay.]

but i'm pretty sure he would agree that it was worth the scare for the final outcome.

i told him not to eat the brown ones (the kernels), so as we sat next to each other on the couch, everytime i reached for some, he told me "don't eat the brown ones!!!!"

We watched Rudolph in October, and I think we might be watching it every night until Christmas. 

Sam tried cereal tonight for the first time. 

It was pretty much a failure, as I expected, and he just let it run out of his mouth.

Eli was pretty excited about the whole thing...

this is eli's patented excited face.

he gets so excited, he can't contain himself, and scrunches his hands up and wrings them around his mouth. 

I started pointing it out to him...

and he just laughs and says eli why you do dat?

Matthew used to do the same thing... except he flapped his hands like he wanted to fly.

HE grew out of it (sort of) so hopefully Eli will too.

He is so interested in Sam and what Sam is doing and is Sam smiling, and Sam want his nana?
