monday with eli

today was a good day.

lots of eli/mommy time.

i was off today and we just hung out all day.

eli's new thing is he likes to sit next to you on the couch (real close) and cover up with a blanket, and read a book. and he actually sits there for a good length of time..

** don't be fooled...

he still watches TV most of the time like this...

just like his uncle matthew used to do.

we played in his closet...

which is more like a playroom these days.

tomorrow,

this big boy will be 19 months old.

tonight we visited daddy at the fire house.

every time we go eli likes it more and more.

since we went to station 1 tonight, eli got to slide down the fire pole while mike held him.

notice the new lieutenant uniform...

eli sat up in the truck by himself and wasn't even shy at all around the other fireman like he usually is.

he even made friends with Doug and used his fire radio (which he held up to his ear and did his fake laugh!)

maybe he feels at home at the firehouse.

have a good week, 4 days until i see our little guy on ultrasound again!
