snow

Today was the first day of winter.

12-21-12.

Today the world did not end.

We did get a crap ton of snow (for Columbus) though.

Eli acted like he forgot all about snow. He was so excited to go out and build a snowman, until his boots hit the snow. Then he was scared to death. Eli don't wike da snow.

I convinced him to let me carry him down to the street where the snow was melted, and he finally had some fun catching snowflakes and playing in an icy puddle. 

He is full of information these days. Today he told me see dat house mom? That's Eli's house. I sleep there. 

 

Later he had air freshner. He told me -- dis is poison mommy. Plus you can spray it on your eye.

Mimi is here today. We made Christmas cookies, wrapped gifts, cleaned the house (she actually helped me clean my floors! Hallelujah!) We made a fire and watched the snow accumulate. Santa comes Saturday night to Eli's house since we have to travel. I can't wait to see his face when he actually GETS the one thing he asked Santa for -- a purple tractor.
