But the easter bunny, "bunny" (lacking on originality here), is here to stay.

eli - "i love my bunny mommy."

bunny keeps showing up in weird random (funny) places.

the stuffed animal phase of eli's life has begun.

he is so much like his father.
he becomes obsessed with something and gives it his ALL...morning noon and night.
and then, done.
just like that.
So bunny better enjoy his attention while it lasts.

(although i don't think the car/truck/tractor phase will ever end...)

Sammy also gets a lot of attention from Eli these days.

peek a boo is a new favorite.

Eli brings sammy a toy or a teething ring (or a truck) and says "here sammy. this will help your teeth."
Here sammy, you can play with THIS truck.
(but sammy better not mess with ANY of the other ones!)
p.s.
[Tooth number 3 is here. Tooth number 4 is on its way.
FUSSY FUSSY BOY.]

Mike took the boys to the park on Friday.

Today I only had to work half a day...
so we had plenty of time for finding easter eggs and playing with easter gifts.

eli got to stay in his jammies ALL day (his usual request) and got to skip naptime for some extra mommy play time.
(I'm hoping by next year I wll be brave enough for church.)

eli loves to try on my boots. and my shoes, and my flip flops.
ha
so that's what we did today.

we even made it outside once it stopped raining.

(clearly SOMEone still needs his naps.)

Facetime is almost always a hit (AND a laugh a minute!)

Eli facetimed anna Jack today without me even knowing...
I just heard voices in the room.
