so much to smile about...

(a half mile walk pulling a 22 lb brother is a LOT of work!)

a love affair. a boy and his juice.

we made it to mimi and big papa's this weekend. 

Mimi just got home from a week's vacation and she was greeted at the door with LOTS of grandbabies. 

oh my holy... we really are "multiplying!"

and what is the very first thing eli does when he gets there...

he organizes the cars of course.

i put my big girl panties on this weekend and attempted to pull off our normal saturday routine at mimi's with 2 kids in tow. 

Since Sam was born I have avoided church with the two of them. I assumed it would be a disaster and we would spend the entire mass in the cry room.

but...

they surprised me. 

pleasantly surprised me. 

i like those kind of surprises.

Eli fell asleep for about half of mass and never said a word the entire time. 

Sam was content as long as I let him stand and hold on to the pew and play with his toys. 

No cry room. 

amazing.

So I guess I can pull off church now... as long as mike goes with me (which is a WHOLE other challenge in itself.)

We went out to dinner at Parassons...just like old times.

imagine this... Eli was the center of attention

Since it was so nice out (and because the flavor was banana)... we stopped at Stricklands too.

Sam likes ice cream. 

he likes it a lot.

my favorite is the look on sam's face... scoping out mimi's ice cream in her mouth.

AND...

(yes there's more. I told you... big girl panties.)

we went to the park too.

someone get this poor boy some shoes!

I had to pack a mary poppins style bag to make our evening happen...

but i pulled it off. 

wow. 

I have to say it's much easier to just stay home then to spend a day away from home with 2 kids... but 9 months in... i think it's time to start trying a little more often.

Especially now that winter is OVER.

Today...

it was 72 and sunny.

It was fantastic!

mimi and grandma rita and i took the kiddos to wingfoot.

Sammy had dirt in between his toes, between his teeth, under his fingernails. 

And then there was pretty miss anna...in her white tights, looking all cute and clean.

boys will be boys will be boys...

i am surrounded by boys ! :)

this summer is going to be a lot of dirty smelly sweaty little boys.

and...

i just received some advice on how to potty train eli this summer. 

let him pee outside on a tree.

oh... am i ready for this?? ! 

we had a fun fun weekend.
