our weekend was all over the place crazy, mostly like every other weekend, or every day.
2 steps forward, 3 steps back, right?
we had fun hiding them and finding them over and over at home with no fighting.[[forward]].
we really had a great week/weekend where these two boys played nice.

thursday with daddy |
last weekend with mommy at wildwood |
just sammy and his sweet little self |
i think sammy secretly hates the tunnel game, but he does it because eli likes it. |
The boys (and Wauwau) had Janeen and Cruz over Friday, and every one played nice and had a fun time. i was told there was sharing involved [[forward]] and that Cruz played outside and had a mustache made of "macaroni cheese."
we got up Saturday morning for the Bryn Du Easter egg hunt, and arrived (not so) promptly at 11:02 to find that every single last egg had been found.
[[backward]]
[[backward]]
i don't think the boys knew the difference. they thought it was fun getting tossed out of the car, and sprinting with mommy across a field while daddy looked for a parking space.
sammy kept saying "eggs?", so i truly felt like mother of the year, but we made it up to them with a few more egg hunts of our own.
We played outside all day Saturday and Eli had only been in the corner twice for the day, which is good based on our recent history.
then all at once, Eli decides it would probably be great fun to run sammy over with the gator.
He didn't, of course, but he almost did.
[[backward]]
that counts as about 5 trips to the corner.
We got up Easter morning and found that the Easter bunny had been at our house.
Eli heard him hopping really loud through our house this morning he says.
(Eli was very concerned that the Easter bunny wouldn't come in our rooms and wake us up while hiding eggs. He also needed to know an easter bunny's mode of transportation, the color of his house, and the status of his christmas tree.)
we actually played with some Easter toys, ate some Easter candy (and cereal), and got ready for church and made it IN TIME!
both boys behaved amazingly in church. mike had one, i had the other, they both had snacks. we were good to go.
[[forward]]
we had a great day at wauwau and papas house.
we had (another) egg hunt

we had (another) egg hunt
with a little healthy competition. eli would be his way to get an egg he found, but when he over heard sammy finding an egg, he went toward sammy to steal his egg.
a person could get whiplash from watching how quickly these two switch from friends to enemies. [[forward, backward, backward, forward]]
tonight, we went to bed as enemies. i rocked sammy to sleep while eli sat in his corner for tackling sam and sitting on him, for no apparent reason. [[backward]]
sammy holds no grudges, and eli has long forgotten ...
and tomorrow is another day.
but today was a good day. easter, sunshine, half of our family.
lots of sugar, no naps, sweaty boys, and a good day.
we are warn out.
