Mike and I took a mini break and headed off to New York City this week. Eli stayed with wauwau and papa and Anna jack. Sammy stayed with mimi and papa. Mike and I drank and ate and shopped and slept and enjoyed some alone time. We aren't sure who had the best time. Both boys were quite spoiled but their alone time with their grandmas.
Eli was also spoiled by his Anna jack. Otherwise known as "Phyllis" by eli. Eli says the best part of his week at wauwau's was washin' his car with Anna jack.
Sammy didn't want to come with us when mike and I picked him up. He hardly looked at us when we pulled in the driveway, then said "stay here. "
Either way, it was a much needed break for all.

and walked some more through the city. We hit a bunch of bars, a bunch of stores
And china town.

And the 9/11 museum, which was incredible!
I even got to spend the afternoon Thursday with Lesley -- shopping and talking and getting pedicures.
I can't wait to do it again next fall!!
