Potty diaries day 1

Today was a success. It was filled with a bunch of little failures, but overall, a success. 

Eli was told last night he would be wearing underwear today. No more diapers. And when he got up, I just went with it. He peed on the potty THREE TIMES!!! THREE!! That is three more times than I ever thought he would, since up until now, he has refused to sit on the potty. 

He also peed in his undies about 10-12 times. And we spent about 2-3 hours in the bathroom "waiting" for pee that never came. 

After he peed in his undies the 10th time, he says " the pee keeps coming out in these underwear. I need new ones. " 

 So after going through the 6 pack of undies and washing them, they were all wet AGAIN, and I put on his diaper while waiting for undies to dry. Immediately he peed AND pooped in his diaper.

So potty diaries day 2 might have to wait til October or November ... Because mr Eli needs a little more time I believe. 

But we have made a huge step in the right direction!!!! Yay Eli!
