weddings, brown bears, and gabba

Matthew and Megan are married! (again!)

we went up to mogadore for the weekend to celebrate again...

this time with ALL our friends and family, and the boys too!

they enjoyed themselves, the little wedding crashers that they were.

 
and they look pretty darn cute in their checkered bow ties.
 

markie gave a surprisingly funny speech (we were all a little nervous that he MAY bomb it!), and matthew smashed cake in megan's face!

the night was bittersweet.
we were celebrating such a special, happy occasion, but then the night ended with a heavy heart... with megan's grandmother passing away at home, after a painful battle with cancer. 

we knew it was coming anytime, and she held out until she couldn't any longer... but long enough for megan and matthew to celebrate their night.

we are back at home now... and life resumes its normal flow.
eli and sammy love themselves some gabba...

when i told eli we were going to a wedding, with dancing and music... he said "is it at gabba's house?"
you know, because "SINGING AND DANCING TO MUSIC IS AWEEESOOOME!!"
thank you yo gabba gabba for the endless entertainment.
eli is hooked on reading "brown bear brown bear what do you see."
he has the whole thing memorized.
it is the. cutest. trick. yet.
he sounds so cute reading (reciting) it.

it is July tomorrow... which means it is Eli's (and my) birthday month!!!
he's lucky i like him so much to share my birthday month (and week) with him.
july means summer is in full effect...
